Your Summer Brand Plan

I don’t know about you, but it already feels like it is May!

There are a few days left in the month of April before we turn the page. April has been filled with beauty, changes, and reality checks. Our family started the month off with the stomach bug for a week. It was not at all how I imagined things!

Life happens, and it’s smart to be ready for the impact. Something that I am working on personally and with my clients is looking forward to formulate a gentle plan that will bring support for the summer season.

Embracing seasonality in your business is one of my favorite ways to add your own life into your brand so that you are savoring, enjoying, and filling your cup in the pursuit of helping others and reaching your goals.

Pause and look forward

  • What can you establish in May that will support you through the summer season?

  • What do you want to achieve, experience, or accomplish this summer?

  • What do you want to leave behind this summer?

Pause and look backward

  • What did you enjoy and experience last summer?

  • What really worked for you in your brand?

  • What happened with your business throughout the summer months?

I find it’s not only important but extremely helpful to pause and consider these things right now.

It gives you something to work with. If you don’t plan where you will go, you can end up anywhere. So why not have some intentionality and direction as time compounds around you?

I will be hosting a live Summer Brand Plan Coaching Workshop on Wednesday, May 1. You can sign up to participate live or to catch the replay. It is completely free and I’d love for you to join me!

This will best be enjoyed with space, a notebook, and a pen. I recommend setting aside 75 minutes. Hope to see you there!

Last but not least, what did not work at all for us last summer was not taking up the space we needed as a family to flourish.

I was quite stressed. I did the best that I could, but when I think about 2023, I am a little sad. I put so much pressure on myself. I had anxiety about Barnes entering kindergarten and starting school 5-days a week. I managed, but I did not thrive.

There will always be times of getting through and I can look back and realize I was in one. I craved the exhale of summer and didn’t find it.

This year, I’m taking this desire forward with me. I’m being thoughtful about my family’s time together and apart. I’m holding space for my own needs physically, emotionally, with friends, and mentally.
